Earning VIVE Tokens is centered around engagement with the VIVE Teens app, actively taking a role in your own wellbeing and being an active member of the VIVE Teens community. You can currently earn VIVE Tokens through:
        – Increasing the streaks in the VIVE Teens app. The streaks currently involve “how many days in a row” and “how many weeks in a row” the app has been utilized.
        – Taking healthcare assessments in the Discovery Tiles section of the VIVE Teens app
        – Providing VIVE Teens app feedback through the Settings / Feedback section where ratings can be given as well as other user-specific comments.
        – Giving feedback on additional content that you would like to see in the Discovery section

In the future, we’ll also consider the ability to earn VIVE Tokens through additional types of user engagement such as:

        – Posting in the Stories section of the VIVE Teens app
        – Being a moderator in the VIVE Teens chat rooms
        – Attending VIVE Teens events which can be virtual or in person.

The Vive Teens Store is under construction, in the future users can spend their Vive Tokens on in-app cosmetics or real products.
      5. How will the value of my VIVE Tokens increase over time?
The value of the VIVE Tokens is not guaranteed to increase over time, like any publicly traded asset, the state of the market will set the value of the token.

However, here are some of the steps we plan on taking to give the VIVE Token the best opportunity to grow in value:
        – Increase the properties of the VIVE Token in terms of value exchange, function, rights, toll, and currency. Typically, the more properties that a crypto utility token can have, the higher its valuation.
        – By specifically growing the VIVE Teens value exchange through an internal app economic system that ensures the movement of the asset into peoples hands.
        – Public Initial Coin Offering (ICO) and listing on major coin exchanges.
        – Headline featuring of the VIVE Teens app to create broader awareness and grow the user base.
        – VIVE Token will be a point of focus in marketing efforts.
      6. What can I use the VIVE Token for?
As we envisage the VIVE Token to be the in-app currency for VIVE Teens in conjunction with being a publicly traded asset, the VIVE Token is anticipated to be used in two broad ways in the future:

In the VIVE app, some example uses includes:
        – VIVE Tokens can be used to buy in-app cosmetics or unlock extra features through a VIVE Teens store.
        – The ability to send VIVE Tokens to other users in the VIVE Teens ecosystem as well as donate tokens to VIVE Teens approved charities
        – Buying real-world products through the VIVE Teens partner programmes

        External to the VIVE app:
        – As we anticipate the VIVE Token to have real world value when listed as a publicly traded asset, you would eventually be able to use the VIVE Token as a real world currency through crypto exchange and other cryptocurrency channels.
      7. What is a Cryptocurrency?
A cryptocurrency is a standard currency used for making or receiving payments on a blockchain, with the most popular cryptocurrency being Bitcoin. The cryptocurrency is the superset while crypto tokens and altcoins are two subset categories.
      8. What Is a Crypto Token?
A crypto token is a virtual currency token or a denomination of a cryptocurrency. It represents a tradable asset or utility that resides on its own blockchain, and allows the holder to use it for investment or economic purposes. Crypto tokens are often used to fundraise for crowd sales, but they can also be used as a substitute for other things. These tokens are usually created, distributed, sold, and circulated through the standard initial coin offering (ICO) process, which involves a crowdfunding exercise to fund project development.
      9. What Is the Purpose of Crypto Tokens?
Crypto tokens can be used to represent an investor’s stake in the company or they can be used for an economic purpose, just like legal tender. This means token holders can use them to make purchases or they can trade tokens just like other securities to make a profit.
      10. How does a Crypto Token gain value?
The tenets to a Crypto Token value are typically determined by its role, features and purpose. Each token role has its own set of features and purpose.
Right: By taking possession of a particular token, the holder gets a certain amount of rights within the ecosystem.
Value Exchange: The tokens create an internal economic system within the confines of the project itself. The tokens can help the buyers and sellers trade value within the ecosystem. This helps people gain rewards upon completion of particular tasks.
Toll: It can also act as a toll gateway in order for you to use certain functionalities of a particular system.
Function: The token can also enable the holders to enrich the user experience inside the confines of the particular environment.
Currency: It can be used as a store of value which can be used to conduct transactions both inside and outside the given ecosystem.
Earnings: It can help in the equitable distribution of profits or other related financial benefits among investors in a particular project.

In order to become more valuable, a token must fulfill more than one of these properties. Typically, the more properties that a token can have, the higher its valuation.
      11. What Is the Difference Between a Crypto Coin and Token?
Crypto coins allow individuals to make payments using their digital currency. People can use tokens, though, for many more reasons. They can use them for trading, to hold and store value, and, of course, to use as a form of currency.
      12. Is Bitcoin a Token or a Coin?
Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, which has virtual tokens or coins that can be used to trade or make purchases.
      13. What Are Different Types of Tokens in Blockchain?
Tokens that reside on blockchains include utility tokens, security tokens, reward tokens, currency tokens, and asset tokens.
      14. What is a Utility Token?
Utility tokens are currently the most popular form of tokens out there and specifically help to build an internal economy within the ecosystem and give holders a right to use the network and take advantage of the network by voting on the network’s overall well-being. The most popular example of utility token is the ERC20 ethereum standard. The ERC20 standard has been used by companies to build tokens for their Decentralized Apps (DApps) and launch their Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs). The VIVE Token is a utility token that makes use of the ERC20 ethereum standard. Other examples of utility tokens include Filecoin, Siacoin, and Civic. There is no relation between the value of the utility token and the current state of the company’s valuation. Utility tokens are currently relatively unregulated.
      15. What is a Security Token?
A security token is an investment contract which represents legal ownership of a physical or digital asset like real estate, ETFs, etc. This ownership must be verified within the blockchain. After the ownership is verified, security token holders can trade their tokens for other assets, use them as a collateral for a loan, or store them in different wallets. A token is classified as security when there is an investment of money, the investment is in a common enterprise, and there is an expectation of profit from the effort of others (Howey Test). The token’s value is tied directly to the company’s valuation. The more valuable the company, the more valuable its token. The company and investors must comply with the Howey Test.
      16. What are Altcoins?
Altcoins are alternative cryptocurrencies that were launched after the massive success achieved by Bitcoin. The term means alternative coins, in other words other than bitcoins. They were launched as enhanced substitutes of bitcoin with the claims to overcome some of the pain points of Bitcoin. Some common examples of altcoins include Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Namecoin, and Dogecoin. Though each has tasted varying levels of success, none have managed to gain popularity akin to bitcoin.
      17. What is a Blockchain?
Blockchain is a specific type of database, which differs from a typical database in the way it stores information; blockchains store data in blocks that are then chained together. As new data comes in it is entered into a fresh block. Once the block is filled with data it is chained onto the previous block, which makes the data chained together in chronological order. Different types of information can be stored on a blockchain but the most common use so far has been as a ledger for transactions. In Bitcoin’s case, blockchain is used in a decentralized way so that no single person or group has control—rather, all users collectively retain control. Decentralized blockchains are immutable, which means that the data entered is irreversible. For Bitcoin, this means that transactions are permanently recorded and viewable to anyone.
      18. What is an Initial Coin Offering (ICO)?
An initial coin offering (ICO) is the cryptocurrency industry’s equivalent to an initial public offering (IPO). A company looking to raise money to create a new coin, app, or service launches an ICO as a way to raise funds. Interested investors can buy into the offering and receive a new cryptocurrency token issued by the company. This token may have some utility in using the product or service the company is offering, or it may just represent a stake in the company or project.
